For many couples, months (sometimes years!) of planning have gone into their wedding. Our string quartet provides the background music on the day. It may seem like a small touch, but on the day, and for years afterwards, our melodies, modern or classical, can help create those amazing memories of a wedding day.
Brides and grooms get in touch with us a few months before their wedding. Once the venue and catering is sorted, that’s the time when they typically think about us. We’ll talk about whether they want us for their ceremony, playing as the bride walks down the aisle, or for the drinks reception, or even to play through the Wedding Breakfast (just why is it called a breakfast when it’s at lunchtime or dinner time?)
We’ll discuss their favourite pieces that they’d like us to play. We really pride ourselves on providing a contemporary repertoire of pop songs arranged for string quartet. So many guests love these pop songs and comment on how much they enjoyed our string versions. We offer a broad selection of different bands / artists : Led Zeppelin, Take That,Snow Patrol, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Lady Gaga and The Killers are just a few we can think of off the top of our heads. We like to think there is nothing which can’t be arranged for string quartet – and we’re yet to be proven wrong!
