Jemma and Steven were married at the Balmer Lawn Hotel in the New Forest, Hampshire. We were booked to provide string quartet music throughout the drinks reception
We enjoyed playing at the Balmer Lawn Hotel on Bank Holiday Monday for the wedding of Jemma and Steven. Bank Holiday Monday in August is a popular date for summer weddings in the New Forest. We’re sure to leave really early to beat any traffic as we know the roads which get clogged up quickly!
We had a lovely time, and enjoyed taking some requests from the guests – such as a request for Vivaldi’s Spring as they’d enjoyed listening to it on a recent holiday to Venice. We duly obliged!
Built originally in the mid 1800’s as a hunting lodge, the Balmer Lawn Hotel is a classic Country House Hotel set in the very heart of the New Forest National Park
