Hampshire string quartet The Bossard Quartet played at Lucy and Calvin’s wedding at the Lysses House Hotel on Friday. It was a lovely intimate wedding, with a high spirited atmosphere. Lucy and Calvin had booked us as they are big Oasis fans and loved our rendition of ‘Whatever’, a special song for them.
The Lysses House Hotel in Fareham, Hampshire, was once a private residence built at the height of the Georgian era.
We enjoyed playing for the ceremony, with some lovely moments from the bride and groom as they exchanged their vows. Lucy walked down the aisle to Oasis Whatever, and in the signing of the register we played Sia’s Chandelier and Des’ree’s Kissing You. For the exit of the couple we played the Theme from Game of Thrones.

At what point did you realise you wanted a string quartet?: Always wanted one since I can remember

Why have you chosen your music to walk down the aisle to (if we are playing for this part): Massive oasis fans and whatever is one of our favourites and will remember walking down the aisle to this for years to come
Tell us an interesting story about you as a couple : Calv proposed on my 30th Birthday with our son Leo there it was a really precious moment! We met down the pub !
