We played on Saturday at the wedding of Chloe and Connor at the Elmers Court Hotel. Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel & Resort is located on the stunning Solent Coast, at the edge of the New Forest and lies within 23 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds.
We were booked for the ceremony and drinks reception. We enjoyed playing while guests were awaiting the arrival of Chloe. We played some good tunes – Adele’s Skyfall, James Brown’s I Feel Good, Take That’s Shine.Â
Chloe walked down the aisle to Pachelbel Canon which was a beautiful moment.
After the vows had been exchanged, we played McFly’s All About You, Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance, and Frank Sintra’s Love and Marriage. This entertained the guests nicely as the documents were being signed and photographs were taken.
After the certificate had been presented, we played Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Flowers as the newly married Mr and Mrs exited the ceremony room.
In the drinks reception we then played our way through requests and we had a lovely time! It was good to meet Kirstie from Planning By Laurel who was the couple’s PA for the day.
